The St Kilda bagpipe range has been designed by Piping Themes using the latest design technology and only the finest raw materials. Acknowledging the bagpiper’s requirements has prompted us to use the finest African Blackwood carefully chosen from seasoned stock where it is rough turned and left for a further period before finishing. We have removed the imitation ivory ring caps where possible and replaced them with solid nickel not only matching the solid nickel slides and ferrules but providing a stronger material to avoid unsightly chips. The projection mounts on the pipes are screwed mounts and not simply glued in to place.

Considerable effort goes in to the Quality control and every set is inspected before it can leave the factory. All our pipes are made in Glasgow, Scotland to International Manufacturing Quality Standards to ensure complete peace of mind for the bagpipers of today and tomorrow.

The external profile which is used throughout the entire St Kilda range of pipes, practice chanters and accessories is designed to be both traditional and unique in the piping world making all the products instantly recognisable.
